We have reviewed our Risk Assessment and as a result we are partially open to vulnerable children and children of critical workers.

Children who are staying at home are able to access home learning opportunities via our Facebook page

Please contact Claire Palmer ( Headteacher) if you have questions about our current arrangements: Head@huntingdon-nur.cambs.sch.uk

Dear Parents/Carers,

Thank you for showing an interest in Huntingdon Nursery School, I hope you find the information on this website useful and gives you a flavour of nursery life.

We aim to provide the best quality of early education for our children, working together with parents and carers so that they develop a love of learning.

Our purpose-built building provides an amazing environment both inside and out for children to play, grow, develop and thrive.

At Huntingdon Nursery School we are able to offer Nursery places to ‘funded twos’ and to all children the term after they are three, for a total of 15hrs a week.

As a maintained Nursery School, we employ qualified teachers, who lead a skilled team of highly motivated and committed staff, providing the very best educational experiences for young children.

We believe that children learn best when they are happy and feel safe and secure. We aim to work in partnership with you as parents and carers to support children to become motivated and enthusiastic learners. We believe this happens best when children have the freedom, opportunities and experiences to follow their interests and passions whilst exploring new interests and ideas.

If you would like to find out more about the nursery then please call the office to make an appointment to meet us and have a tour of nursery. This will give you an opportunity to ask questions and find out if this is the right setting for your child.

We look forward to meeting you.

Claire Palmer
